Self Actualization... continued
Ken said...
People who thirst for self-actualization have everything can maximize their potential. If they have other problems in other deficit needs, their needs of self-actualization may alter, or decline, or worse to become their tool to fulfill other needs. Many musicians, artists, and poets have the strong desire of self-actualization, as well as sufficient capability to achieve. At the same time, they often have other deficit needs, especially esteem needs and safety needs, which are also important. Successful artists always aim for a perfect painting, rather than wealth. Some outstanding artists, however, force themselves to sell their best painting for a plate of meal. After a long period, their paintings are not as good.
